Let us all be Indians without any basic difference, while keeping the regional identities, exchanging cultural traditions, vacation tours, pilgrimages, student and youth travels, living united in multistory buildings in big cities and exchange of food and living customs. For this, not only we should meet each other during national festivals and social events, but also take active part in religious celebrations, meetings of saints, large inter-religious gatherings, public prayers, religious narrative story-tellinggatherings, meetings of poets, literary conferences, trade association meetings/ exhibits, gazal gatherings, assembly of old experienced men (Diaro) and country side gatherings. 27 In this regard, greater mainstream of Hindu society has proved broad-minded, while our Christian and Muslim brethren have proved more conservative and less mixing. This is undesirable for appropriate national integrity.
