Our Cultural Heritage
and 20 years afterwards, many great people did not study science or commerce and still they were quite intelligent, full of wisdom, virtuous, lived magnanimous inspiring life and helped build our nation. Among them were Mahatma Gandhiji, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru, Rajendraparasadji, S. Radhakrishnan, Rajaji, Govind Vallabh Pant, Sampuranandji, Veer Sawarkar, Vinoba Bhave, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Subhashchandra Bose, Abdul Kalam Azad, Morarjibhai Desai, Kanaiyalal Munshi, a Baba Saheb Ambedkar and many others.
Hence, a special note for my dear student friends that whatever branch of education you choose; along with earning, be constantly aware about how much you are useful to your larger family-community-town, and how virtuous is your life. Be hard-working in life. Today, our society needs more good-noblegentlemen and for that ; specialists and experts are urgently needed in the areas of Indian culture, Indian history, Indian arts and Sanskrit- the mother of many Indian languages. If possible, you may take these or similar subjects and march forward in your educational acumen.
