INDIAN FARMING
Our nation is mainly an agricultural country. About 75 percent population lives in villages where the s primary means of earning is farming. But it is also a sad fact that the owners of good farming lands are either big landlords or the rich people living in nearby cities, government officers, and corrupt, shameless politicians who get elected in the name of serving public but then deceive them, rejoice in their exploitation and are clever in high treason.
The reason for writing this in strong words is that agricultural workers and laborers, who sweat and work very hard in farms, do not get any opportunity for making progress in the areas of education, money and culture. Rich becomes richer and poor becomes poorer. There is no significant union of such farm laborers, whose voice the state or government council would listen.
There is no immediate solution for this great and difficult problem, since even after 53 years of Independence the situation is very unsatisfactory today. It is not possible to discuss all the aspects of 6 the issue here. Still if we all make collective efforts to
