Our Cultural Heritage

* We represent only about one percent (1%) in Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and all three wings of military (Army, Navy and Air Force). Similarly, with the exception of present Coalition Government at Center, our political representation, power and influence in the Capital New Delhi is almost insignificant.
* No Gujarati is seen in the field of editorial journalism of national news.
* Not much is known about any big presence of Gujaratis in the areas of fine arts, commercial arts, music, architecture or painting.
* Some satisfaction can be taken in the field R of business and industry, and Gujaratis e represent good proportion as doctors and
engineers who are settled abroad (Non Resident Indians or the NRI s ). It is also somewhat gratifying in the areas of vegetarianism, honest dealings and humanitarian services.
What I have to say here, is addressed mainly to the new young generation of middle and upper classes.
