INTRODUCTION
Nṛtyaratnakosa :
Nṛtyaratnakosa, published in two parts in the Rajasthāna Purātana Granthamālā, is a part of a bigger work called Samgitarāja, which is described in the colophons as a Samgita-mimāṁsā consisting of 16,000 verses (S'odaşasahasri). The Saṁgitaraja contains the following Ratnakosas: (1) Pathyaratnakos'a, (2) Gitaratnakosa, (3) Vädyaratnakosa, (4) Nṛtyaratnakos'a and (5) Rasaratnakosa. Of these, Pathyaratnakoşa edited by Dr. C. Kunhan Raja was published in Bikaner in Ganga Oriental Series, as No. 4, in 1946.
