Leumann who could utilize only Mss. (in Berlin, Strasbourg, and from Poona) for his valuable studies. Übersicht,p.28b deals with Nāila (MNA, Chap.IV), cf. MNSt.B,p.174. The two other important publications of Ernst Leumann are: (2) Das Aupapātika Sūtra, erstes Upānga der Jainas. Leipzig (AKM.8.2) 1883. 166 pp. (3) Die Avasyaka-Erzählungen (1. Heft).
