________________ KARMA PHILOSOPHY 63 i to 4 Four degrees of anger. 5 to 8 Four degrees of pride. 9 to 12 Four degrees of deceitfulness. 13 to 16 Four degrees of greed. 17 to 25 The same as the remaining mohaniya karmas, laughing & jokiog, etc, down to the Deuter sex passion. These are the same states as the 25 last mobaniya karmas, only here the point of view is that when in any one of these states, the person generates or adds to his present karma. If, however, the attitude of the mind is one of aloofness, then fresh karma is not generated, he does not then identify himself with the anger for instance, and so does not generate more. Yoga. There are 15 kinds of this cause, In this relation in the Jain philosophy, the word yoga has the technical meaning of bodily, speech, or thought activity. (This is a technical meaning.) 1. Satya-mano-yoga. Activity of the mind: it may be truihful: it generates a kind of karna. 2. Asatya-mano-yoga. Activity of the mini which implies falsehood.
