By scripture is meant that which was inrented by self-realized persons who have seen truths and whose pronouncements in consequence are not incompatible with truths derived from perception Now the sain sages hold the Scriptural . Knowledge to be of three different kinds. VIZ, - (1) Knowledge derived from the teachiClassifica- ings, recorded or otherwise, of ku devas or Shasir aja bad spiutual teachers. (2) Knowledge derived from the Naye Sruta or that part of the Jain scripture which teaches us as to the ways of comprehending things and realities in one or the other of the many aspects they are possessed of tion of the Testimony h
