And we begin our discussion by defining the two in the clearest possible manner. By karman-body we mean the Experiential-body where the effects caused by the Oudarikabody are stored up, as it were, in a subtle form. The operation of the Odârika-body or the Perceptual organ leaves a permanent vestige upon the karma-body known as karma-vestige, just as the agitation of the brain molecules in thought, leaves a permanent vestige upon the brain itself.
