"Jain Digest', the first concrete action of the Associations in north America, is an essential link between the Jains to communicate in this technological age. "Jain Study Circular", edited by Dr Dulichandra Jain, is equally doing a yeoman service to the entire north American Jain community, which desirably needs an organisation in an institutional fashion.
Jain Digest covers the news of entire Jain World. It brings out Jain Matrimonials and the "Book Reviews" attempts to provide a wealth of knowledge badly needed. To suggest, for those who are interested in having them for the price, is not out of its place. "Jain Religion in India's History A Historian's Reflection", by Miss Vasanta Kumari, Reader in History, Maharani's College, Mysore, India, relates the present with the past and grows to grip with a questioning mind. Such research materials-books, papers et all-, from such knowledgeable persons surely will help rejuvenating the interest among reasourceful individuals or organisations here in north America.
