Fort William 12th December 1794. The following Letter was received, on the 9th Instant, from the Commander of the Nautilus Brig. TS Capt. Fimins. To Edward Hay Esq. Secretary to the Government. Sir, - I have the Honor to inform you that the Stores ordered from the Garrison Store Keeper for the Andamans, amounting to 150 Bags, and 5 Casks, are on board which together with the Bazar Articles Permitted to go down, will be the whole we can take and I am sorry to say we have no room for any convicts. I am &c (Signed) Fimins H. C. B. Nautilus. 1794. - NO XLIV. Fort William 19th December 1794. The following Letter was received on the 18th Inst. from the Secretary at Bombay. Seory Bombay 28th November 1794. To Edward Hay Esq! Secretary at Fort William. Sir, - I have had the pleasure to receive your Letter dated the 29th Ultimo and am desired to Acquaint Yon that the wishes of the Governor General in Council respecting Convicta being sent to the Andamans will be duly Attended to by this Government ..... The following Minute was received from the Governor General on the [blank] and Circnlated to the Members of the Board who Concurred in the Propositions it contained, and the necessary Orders were issued accordingly.
