________________ Shri Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra www.kobatirth.org Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir (xvii) (4) Agnichit Jalesvara Migra Vajapeyi was master of 'Teta' and wrote a Smrti digest namxd 'Jalekvara Paddhati' which was very popular in Orissa. Hunter mentions this work in his History of Orissa(30) (5) Narasimha or Nrsimha Migra Vajapeyi, who was a profoun) scholar was appointed as a jnstice by the celebrated Gajapati Kapilesvara Deva of Orissa (1435-1466 A. D.). This incident brought this family of scholars into prominence in the field of administration of the State of Orissa which continued for about a century. Narasimha revived the Advaitavada of Sri Sankara by his writings. He wrote Tea TriTTTF alfas a commentary on HSTT TIR cf Sri Sankara, 'which is quoted by hie grandson Goilavara Miera in his Yoga Chintamani (31) and is also mentioned by Narasimha in his Nityachara Pradipa. He spent some years of his life at Kabi, where he practiced austerities and obtained siddhi in Yoga. There he wrote ' 131TATAIET' which is als) referred to in the Yogachintimani of Gorlavara e. g. 15TTATHIETdi garagetui: (6) Gangadhara Misra, younger brother of Narasim ha also wrote a work in Smsti which is known by the discovery of a few folia of its manuscript at Bhubaneswar. (7) Rajaguru 'Balabhadra Miera, son of Narasimha Miera tras the Rajagnriz nf Fajanati Purnshottama Deva (1466-1497) and Gajapati Prataparndra Deva. He was proficient in th? TE ETE and performed Parindarika sacrifice (पौण्डरीकयाजी), Two of his works named अद्वैत चिन्तामणि and groff ATT IF717777F ara citer in the Yogachintimani of his son Godkvara (22). The Smrti digest called a 5h 95 which is quoted in the later Smoti works of Orissa was most probably compiled by him.
