The mention of this deity only in the Afiat of the above two works. most likely gives an indication about the association of the author with this sacred place. Divyasimha refers to many authors and works in his wett already known in the field. But Agatrena cited in this work is not yet known from any other source. He refers to only five authors and seven works in his Faait all of which are ksown before. There are four Kaladipa manuscripts Dh/41 (b), Dhi/92 (b), Dh/129, DE/168 and two Sraddhadipa manusripts Dh/41 (a) Dhj 92 (a) in the manus pripts library of the Orissa State Museun, He was also the autho: of a loss-known work called forferifter in which he collected the important reference verses, which he could not incorporate in the above two works to avoid repetition, which is known fron the colophon of this works. LAKSMIDHARA MISRA:- . - Lakshmidhara Misra having Karitsa gotra, was the author of a treatise on Saiva faith calle? "TTF19.7" which was very popular in Orissa. He was a native of th3 very sacred town of Bhubaneswar called "CF.19147" as is known from the colophon at the end of each section of his work. He may be assignul to tha last quarter of the 17th century, because his grand father Pradyumna Migra is known from the intro.lnctory versto be a contemporary of Narasimha Deva, evidently the only king of that na ng of the Bhoi dynasty of Khurla who ruled For Private and Personal Use Only
