________________ Shri Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra www.kobatirth.org Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir (xxxi) From the last verge of both the works it is known that he was born in a family having Vatsa gotra "aratiaegaciat faszfalfas.get" In the ' laura' of toth the works he prays to God Krshna and also to Bhavani-Sankara, th3 famous deity of that name in the temple city of Bhubaneswar. The mention of this deity only in the Afiat of the above two works. most likely gives an indication about the association of the author with this sacred place. Divyasimha refers to many authors and works in his wett already known in the field. But Agatrena cited in this work is not yet known from any other source. He refers to only five authors and seven works in his Faait all of which are ksown before. There are four Kaladipa manuscripts Dh/41 (b), Dhi/92 (b), Dh/129, DE/168 and two Sraddhadipa manusripts Dh/41 (a) Dhj 92 (a) in the manus pripts library of the Orissa State Museun, He was also the autho: of a loss-known work called forferifter in which he collected the important reference verses, which he could not incorporate in the above two works to avoid repetition, which is known fron the colophon of this works. "स्वेनैव कृते कालदीपश्राद्धदीपाख्ये स्मृतिसंग्रहे यानि बाहुल्यादुक्तानि ST-ATIIT ifa gaaria &T ATIA ATT dan Divyasimha flourished before the close of the 17th century as he is quoted by Gadidhara Rijagiri who wrote his works in the first quarter of the 18th century. LAKSMIDHARA MISRA:- . - Lakshmidhara Misra having Karitsa gotra, was the author of a treatise on Saiva faith calle? "TTF19.7" which was very popular in Orissa.
