PUBLISHER'S NOTE It is our policy to regularly publish noble and life-elevative literature for the benefit of the society in general and of scholars and spiritual aspirants in particular. Majority of our 60 publications have been produced in Gujarati, Hindi, Sanskrut and Prakrut.
With changing times and with more overseas people taking interest in our activity, we started English publications and this book comes to the readers in that category.
Shri Manubhai Doshi is a learned, well-read and dedicated follower of Shrimad Räjchandra's thoughts and literature. He has done considerable work in translating Shrimad's original Gujarati work in English for the benefit of new generation and Englishspeaking youths abroad and in India. The present book follows that tradition which includes English translation as well as commentary on Ätmasiddhi (Self-Realization). The Publishing Committee at Koba appreciates his scholarly dedication and thanks him for spreading Lord Mahavir's message through Shrimad's writings. Inspite of his age (83 years) Manubhai is hard working and enthusiastic.
In India and abroad, many friends and well wishers have been instrumental in production of the present work. Students of Jain Study Group of Jain Center of Southern California, many members of Khandhar family including Mahendra, Ramesh, Suketu, Hetal, Sumit & Samir Khandhars, Pravin Mehta, Usha Sheth, Dr. Natubhai Shah (London) and Jyotindra Doshi & his son Kumar are mentioned for their help in review and production. The Committee sincerely appreciates all of them, specially Mahendra Khandhar whose incessant efforts, scriptural knowledge and visionary approach made this difficult work possible.
