PREFACE
The present volume is the second part of the Visesavasyakabbasya by Jinabhadragani kşamásramana. In this volume the auto-commentary ends with gatha No. 2318 i.e. with the end of the chapter on the sixth ga nadhara. Kotāryavādigani who has completed the commentary ioforms us that after completing the commentary on the sixth ganadhara Jinabhadragani kşamāśramana died and hence he has completed the commentary (p. 413) We have included the commentary by Kotyārya in this volume from the gatha No. 2319 (p. 413). This commentary by Kotjärya is differnt from that of Kotjåcårya which was published from Ratlam in A, D, 1936 (part I) and in A. D. 1937 (part II).
In this volume the spiritual life of Lord Mabăvira, Lord Mahavira's discussions with his Ganadbaras on different topics like the existence of soul etc., his refutation of the views of the Nihnavas and many other subjects are dealt with by the author.
Tbe third part of this important text is in press and we hope to publish it very soon.
