Visarjana (Conclusion)-Asking for forgiveness for any mistake or negligence committed during the pūjā. Ārati-To show our respect to lord. The whole purpose of Pūjā is that by reciting the virtues of Tīrthankara, Arhanta, Siddha or Parameșthi, we also remind ourselves that these same virtues are also to be possessed by us and that by taking the path of Tīrthankara, we also can attain the liberation.
