As the world is suffering from a moral and spiritual crisis, it requires a moral and spiritual solution. Moral education of children is the solution for such social ills as AIDS, alcohol and drug abuse, violence, crime, prejudice, racism, selfishness, disunity, injustice, etc. A universal moral education for the new millennium, acceptable to all cultures, traditions, religions, nations and people, is proposed in this presentation. Its goal is the acquisition of virtues on the one hand and learning to create a just and moral society on the other. Scientific experience has shown that the character of an individual is formed before puberty and that afterwards it is extremely difficult to change the character of an individual. Therefore, a moral education initiative, introduced into the school curriculums, should focus on children 5-14 years of age. Professor Davachi is a world expert on AIDS and an international advocate of moral education of children for prevention of AIDS and other social ills. He has met with numerous Heads of State and religious leaders and has advised governments around the world encouraging them to include moral education in their school curriculums.
