Dr. Marjorie Jobson represents the Human Rights Institute of South Africa. 11:00 AM-12:00 PM IN ENGINEERING 3.15 Youth Living on the Street - Long Term Solutions Mr. David Fortune This workshop will present a developmental intervention model for working with children and youth living on the street, their families, and communities of origin. Developed over ten years of working with this target group, the model has been tested, and has demonstrated measurable results. It is also transferable and can be duplicated. David Fortune conceptualized and started the Street Community Development in South Africa seven years ago. As a trained child care worker, he has worked with children living on the streets for more than ten years in various capacities.
