Jaina tradition as canonical works (Jaina Śvetāmbara Mūrtipūjaka - White-clad Idol-worshiping tradition recognises forty-five scriptures as such) include eleven Anga Sūtras (Primary canons), twelve Upānga Sūtras (Subsidiary canons), four Mūla Sūtras (Basic canons), four Cheda Sutras (Disciplinary canons) and Avaśyaka-sūtra (Esssential scripture).
