5.2.5. Parişahajaya (Conquest by endurance) Parişahajaya is conquering the afflictions. According to Umāsvāmi the afflictions are to be endured so as not to swerve from the path of stoppage of karmas and for the sake of dissociation of Karmas.21
5.2.5.1. Types of afflictions There are following twenty-two afflictions to be endured:22 (TS/IX/9)
