Four fold Sammatta-saddhāna (samyaktvaśraddhāna):- A true cultivation of faith consists in acquaintance with the highest truth and association with those who have realized the truth and avoidance of the company of the misdirected people.
2.4 Three Signs of Sammatta:
1 Sussusā 5
Strong desire to hear the scriptures.
2 Dhammarão
Predilection for the practice of the discipline.
3 Gurudevānām jahā Samāhiya, Veyāvacce Compulsive reverence for the teacher and Niyama
the deity.
2.5 The five transgressions (Aticäras) of Sammatta":
1 Samkā (śamkā)
2 Kamkha (kāmkṣā)
3 Vittigiccha (vicikitsa)
4 Parapasandapasaṁsā (parapakhandaprasaṁsā)
5 Parapasamdapasamthava (parapākhāmdasamstava)

Doubt about the variety of the tenets propounded by the Jina in part or as whole.
Desire super mundane. This is the interpretation given by Umāsvāti and Siddhasenagani. Haribhadra in Avasyakatika has given a different meaning, which appears more plausible and cogent. As addiction to or appreciation of many fold doctrines, (kārnkhā annannamsana gaho) in part or in whole.
