During the period of 1951 to 1959 he edited the unpublished papers of Henry Luders and it was published as "VARUN". On his 70th Birth anniversary under the auspices of Glaznep Founation his papers, lectures and research papers were published. He also gave services in the form of chief editor for Pali dictionary. In the later part of his life he started writing criticism ( tika ) on jain canons. Over and above to this he was an active worker of institutes like Academy of Sciences and literature of Mayence, Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and letters.
