Pujya Kanji Swami Pujya Kanji Swami was born in a village Umarala of Bhavnagar district in the year 1890 A.D. He was a great social reformer, and religious master. He has contributed a lot in the field of literature, yoga, grammar, etc. He has opened new dimensions in all the sections of literature. He had profound command over Sanskrit and Prakrit languages. His work "Kavyanusasan" has put him on the top level in the field of poetics. His book 'Yogasastra' is famous in philosophical litrature. He was born at Dhandhuka in the year 1089 A.D. . His father's name was Chaching / chay and his mother's name was Pahinidevi. He was name Changdev. As per the information available, just before the birth of this child Pahinidevi had a deam. On the analysis of that dream, ,Muni Devchandra predicted that this child will propagate and spread Jain principles everywhere.
