SEN AND VISHEN
(Seventh Birth)
Sen and Vishen were cousin brothers. Sen was the son of king Amarsen of Champapuri and his queen Jaysundari; Vishen was the son of Harishen and Hariprabha. Harishen was the younger brother of Amarsen.
Amarsen was the king and his you-nger brother Harisen was the heir-apparent, or chief prince. There was deep love between them. But there was great difference, like Day and Night, between the nature or dispositions of two persons. Sen was virtuous and Vishen was full of vices. The nature of Sen was like a saint with detachment and the nature of Vishen was to enjoy bodily happiness. One was. East, the other was the west. One was a jug of nectar, the other was a pot of poison.
