Akalanka

Reference is made to the legend according to which Akalanka, when embarrassed in controversy with a Buddhist antagonist, discovered that the latter was being effectively prompted by " Mayadevi” concealed in a jar, and kicking the jar over with his foot, put an end to that inspiration. 4, 157.
