He was pupil of Vivekasamudragani, who was pupil of Soraasandara the head at the time of the Tapagachchha. Amaraprabha Mentioned as having expounded the Kalpasutra to Dharmasari, in or about Samvat 1344. Amaraprabha was a pupil of Anandasari. 5, 110. Amaramanikya Pupil of Mativardhana and guru of Sadhukirti. 5, 159. See under Sadhusundara. Amalakirti Mentioned as having ordered a copy of the Yogasara to be written in Samvat 1192. He was a pupil of Jayakirti 5.147. Arjana Mentioned as one of the commentators on the Bharatiya or Sangitaratnakara, 4, 43. Asokachandra Mentioned as the goru of Udayachandragani.
