Udayasinha Author of a Commentary on the Dharmavidhi of SriprabhasuriHe composed the work in Chandravati, in Samvat 1286. He gives the following genealogy for himself. In the Chandragachchha there arose 1. Sarvadevasuri. He had two pupils 3. Sriprabhasuri and Srisomaprabhasuri. The former was the author of the text of the Dharmavidhi. He wrate a commentary on his own work, but that commentary was destroyed in the year 1253. Sriprabhasuri had four pupils— 3. Bhuvanaratna, Nemiprabha, Manikyaprabha and Mahichandra. Oar author 4. Udayasinha was a pupil of the third of these. But he had relations with all four. The first was his dikshaguru; the second was his mother's brother; and the fourth gave him bis title of acharya. The Patan copy of the book was transcribed by the pious Rajimati, daughter of the merchant Somadeva. 5, 113. Udayakarapandita Author of a panjika on the Raghuvansa, which he wrote because no commentary on that work existed. 4, 34. Uddyotana The pupil of Nemichandra and guru of Vardhamana.
