________________ ૨૭૮ 5. Pancha Sangraha Part I. ( संग्रह प्रथम भाग ). Acharya Examination. The first paper should be SuyaGadanga (i) and Visheshavashyaka Bhashya Mula (विशेषावश्यक भाष्य मूल). જૈનયુગ 2nd. Syadwada Ratnakara Avashi. stansha ( स्याद्वाद रत्नाकर अवशिष्टांश) or Sammati traka Part 1 and 2 (समतितर्क भाग १-२ ). Anekanata Jaya Pataka ( कांत जय पताका ) with (b) Sarvajna Siddhi (सर्वज्ञ सिद्धि) by Hari-bhadra Suri or Brahad Sarvajna Siddhi (बृहद् सर्वज्ञ सिद्धि ). By Ananta Kirti Syadwad Kalpa Lata (स्याद्वाद कल्पलता) by Yasho Vijayaji being commentary on ShaVarta Samuchchaya (शास्त्रवार्ता समुच्चय) : or Ashta Sahastri (अष्ट सहस्री). 5th, Parmeya Kamala Martanda ( प्रमेय कमल मार्तण्ड). stra 3. 4. We approve of the works prescribed in the second and third section. We would however suggest that if vedanta Paribhasha ( वेदान्त परिभाषा ) can be relegated to the Upadhaya Exrmination, portions on Shanker Bhashya () on Brahama Sutra ( ) may be prescribed as Vedanta in the Shastri and Acharya Examn. માહ ૧૯૮૩ As regards books on Jain Darshan being prescribed in the other branches within Jain Darshan in the Commentary of Guna Ratna (yo) on Shat Darshan Samuchaya ( दर्शन समुच्चय ) will give far better idea of the Jain than that of the nonsense of Jain Darshan which is written in Sarva Darshan Sangraha ( सर्व दर्शन संग्रह ). Instead of Swadwad Manjari (11) we would suggest Tatvartha Sutra ( तत्वार्थ सूत्र ) for being prescribed in the other examinations or Syadwad Ratnakar Avatarika (स्याद्वाद रत्नाकरावतारिका ). At any rate Tatvartha Sutra ( तत्वार्थ ) must be included. We think Bechardas's Prakrit Vyakarna (प्राकृत व्याकरण ) will give some idea of the development of Various Prakrit Apabrahansa and other languages from Sanskrit. As regards Jain History much can be known from the Prachin Jain Lekh Sangraha part 1 and 2 by Jina Vijay-ji and Pratima Lekh Sangrha part 1 and 2 by Budhi Sagar Suri and Puranchandji Nahar's work on inscriptions. The Indian Sect of the Jains by Burges is also a good book. Webers History of Jain Literature, U. D. Barodiya's History of Literatare, Reply to Lala Lajpatrai by our Mr. Mohanlal B. Jhavery and the Section on Jainism by Mohanlal
