________________ 30 Sri Jaisalmer Treeth Presiding, Deity and Location: Sri Chintamani Parshvanath Bhagwan in white colour, seated in a lotus posture and a height of 105 cms. Located in a shrine in a fort on a hill near the town of Jaisalmer. RE Approach Route: The railway station of Jaisalmer is 1 1⁄2 kms away from dharmashala and 2 kms from the temple on the fort. Cars and buses go upto the base of the fort and there after one has to climb. It is about 10 mins climb. Direct buses come here from Jodhpur, Badmer, Phalodi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Jalore. From the bus stand, dharmashala is half a km away. Amenities for the Jain Pilgrims: For the lodging there are three different dharmshalas, Jain Bhavan, Nakoda Bhavan and Sri Mahaveer Bhavan all at different places. These are around 1 1⁄2 kms from the station and 1⁄2 km from the bus stand. All the facilities along with that of a bhojanshala is available in Jain Bhavan. Near the temple at thr fort there is small dharmshala where you can get water for a bath for performing puja.
