JAINA needs about $100,000 per year. Girish Shah proposed and Anop Vora seconded the proposal that JAINA should deduct 3% administration fee for all outgoing funds upon the receipt of the funds, rather then at the time of distribution of funds. This would allow JAINA with the immediate use of the funds. It will also simplify accounting procedures for the JAINA committees. JAINA committee would also have the clear-cut idea of their availability of the funds. The Executive Committee approved the motion. 6. JAINA Marketing Group: JAINA is facing financial crunch. There has been lack of enrollment in patron program as well as general donations. It was felt that we needed to form a group, whose main function would be to raise funds on an ongoing basis, till we can make Jain Digest financially independent. To meet this need, a group was formed for the sole purpose of fund raising and marketing of JAINA products. This group would be called as JAINA marketing group. The Executive Committee appointed their members as follows: Dr. Manibhai Mehta, Chairperson. Bipin Parikh and Dilip V. Shah. Their objectives would be: 1. Fund raising 2.
