Jain Center of Northern California (JCNC) began the new year with an auspicious occasion of Navakar Mantra Japs. 1997 was a very eventful and memorable year for the Jain Center. The community was blessed with visits from Shri Dhirajlal Pandit, Dr. Hukumchand Bharill, Shri Niraj Jain, Muni Kirtichandraji, Muni Jinchandraji, Amrendra Muni, Samniji Muditprajna, Charitrayaprajna, Sanmatiprajna, Vinitprajna, Prasannaprajna, Bhavitprajna, and Saman Shrutprajna and Ashwinprajna. It was encouraging to see that a large number of the community members took advantage of the opportunity to hear the discourses. In the coming year, Shri Amarendra Muni will be with us for the Paryushan Purve and Samanijis will attend the Das Lakshana Purve.
