There are six axioms (Self evident truth) of Non-violence viz : 1. Non-violence implies as complete self-purification as is
humanly possible. 2. Non-violence is without exception superior to violence
j.e. the power at the disposal of a non-violent person is
always greater than he would have if he was violence. 3. There is no such thing as defent in non-violence. 4. The ultimate end of non-violence is surest victory. 5. Non-violence is the supereme law. 6. Man for man the strength of non-violence is in exact
proportion to the ability, not the will, of the non-violence person to inflict violence.
In other religions non-violence is Ltd to humans or humans and animals, whereas Jainism goes into depth i.e. those living beings which we cannot see. eg. in water there are too may living beings, but they are not visible. We jains are forbidden (Banned) from eating Tuberous roots, because they grow below the earth eg. Potatoes, Onions and carrots etc. The livings beings are of 2 types. (1) 443 414 sa (2) ALULRBL 414 Some souls have done special good deeds they get individual body, whereass some souls who have sinned get only 1 body wherein dwells number of souls. The best eg. of this is potatoes. On the tip ot a needle a small minute piece of potato is held, In that piece there are countless living beings. On that piece there are various series and classification and on each series there are round balls and in each ball there are innumerable living beings. They have only one sense of touch, on an average man's breathing time they take 17.5 incarnation and in less then 48 minutes i.e. one 'Antmuharat' they have 65536 શાનધારા
