૩. સદાચાર મેં મહાન શિવાજી ધર્માત્મા યુધિષ્ઠિરકા ૫ થે જે ધર્મકા સ્વ૫ કહે જાતે હૈ કારણ કિ ઉનકે સબ સેનાપતિ વા સૈનિક કિસી ભી મુસલમાન સ્ત્રી વા ઈસાઈ મેમ કે સાથ માતા વા ભગિનિ સમઝ કર વ્યવહાર કરતે થે.
૪. વહ સ્વયંભી પ્રત્યેક કેદી યવનદેવીકે પુત્રીવત સમઝકર વ્યવહાર કરતે થે.
૫. ઉન્હને યવને કી મસજિદો ઔર ઇસાઈયોકે દેવલો વા ગિરજા ઘરેકે કમી ગિરાયા વા જલાયા નહીં. ઈસસે બઢકર ઉદાર ધર્મનીતિ કયા હે સકતી હૈ?
૬. પતિત–પાવન શિવાજીને મહારાજે અછૂત માને જાતે હૈ, અપની સૈનામે ભરતી કિયા ઔર ઉનકે સાથ મિત્રવત્ વ્યવહાર કરતે થે. બરાબર છૂતે થે ઔર ઉનકા માન-આદર વીરતા કે કારણુ બરાબર કરતે થે.
૭. છત્રપતિ શિવાજી શુદ્ધિ કે પરમ પ્રચારક છે. અનેક સેનિક વા શ્રીમંત (સરદાર) જે આર્ય ધમકા છોડકર યવનમતમેં ચલે ગયે થે ઉનકે શુદ્ધ કર પુનઃ પતિતપાવની આર્ય-ધર્મગંગા ઉનાને મિલાયા.
એસે પરમ-સુધારક વીર નરરત્ન કે ધન્ય હૈ. કવિને ઠીક કહા હૈ –
“કાશી કી કલા ગઈ મથુરા મેં મસીદ ભઈ, શિવાજી નું હેત તે સુન્નત હેત સબકી.”

Engaged in a life-long war against his Muhamedan neighbours, Shivaji could not give his people that peace and tranquillity 80 necessary for the growth of commerce and industry. But he had reformed the Revenue system of his kingdom, organised a careful survey of his lands, and substituted a fairly enlightened and efficient government for the tyranny of semi-independent revenue officers.
Arcanined an army that shattered the foundation of the Mughal Empire in the South. He was the father of the Maratha Navy. The Marcantile policy inaugurated by him had a very bright future. During the short reign of thirty five years he had not only founded a Kingdom but created a nation.
The slightest irregularity did not escape his keen eyes and in personal attention to the minute details of the Government perhaps he was not inferior to his great Mughal rival. We find him framing regulations about the proper style of official letters,
