(૧) મહારાજાચા કટ્ટા શત્રુ જે ઔરંગઝેબ તે સ્વણતા, “તે મહારણુશર સેનાની હતા. હિંદુસ્થાનાંતીલ પ્રાચીન રાજ્યાચા નાશ કરણાચા પ્રયત્ન ભી એકસરખા ચાલવિલા અસતાં નતન રાજ્ય સ્થાપયાર્ચે મહાકાર્ય સિદ્ધિસ નેણ્યાસ લાગણુરે પરાક્રમાદિ ગુણ ત્યાાદૂન અન્ય કાણુઓ હી ઠાયી હવતે. માઝયા પ્રબળ કૌજા ત્યાચાશી લઢણ્યાંત સતત એકેણીસ વર્ષે ગુંતલ્યા હત્યા; તરી ત્યાગી સત્તા એકસારખી વૃધ્વિંગત હોત હતી.” મહારાજાસ “પહાડકા ચુવો ” હણુણાર્યાચા હા અભિપ્રાય આહે.

() મહારાજાની કર્નાટિકાંત પ્યારી કરૂન તે મુલખ આપલા રાજયાસ જોડલા હી કાર મળ્યા બહાદુરીચી ગોષ્ટ કેલી. એક બાજાસ મોગલ બાદશાહ વ દુસર્યા બાસૂસ વિજાપૂરચા બાદશાહ અસતાંહી ત્યાંસ ન માનતાં ૭૦૦ મિલાચા પ્રવાસ વીસ હજાર ઘેડદળ વ ચાળીસ હજાર પાયદળ ઘેઉન ત્યાંની દેલા. મહારાજ ૧૮ મહિને કર્નાટકાંત હેતે; પરંતુ યા મુદતત ત્યાંસ્યા માર્ગે રાજ્યાંત કાણતીહી ગડબા ઝાલી નાહીં. કિંડ લિઠિતાત :
“In the course of 18 months at a distance of 700 miles from his base, he had conquered a territory as large as his former kingdom. While a single roverse would have been fatal, he had not suffered even a single check, Victory had succeeded victory; town had fallen after town. As he went, he organised his conquests; and when he returned to Raygad, his new possessions were securely bound together from sea to sea by a line of fortified strongholds held by garrisons, brave to the death and devoted to his cause.”

(૫) તારીખ ૧૯ નોહેંબર સન ૧૯૯૧ રોજી પ્રિન્સ ઑફ વેલ્સની શ્રી શિવાજી મહારાજા સ્મારકાચી કોનશિલા બસવિલી, ત્યાં વળી કેલેલ્યા ભાષણત તે મહાલે --
1) હિંદુસ્થાનાંતીલ એક અત્યંત શ્રેષ્ઠ અશા મહાયોધ્યાઓ વ મુત્સદ્દાઓ સ્મારકાચી કનશિલા
બસવિધ્યાર્ચ: કામીં મલા ફાર આનંદ વાટત આહે. (ગા) શિવાજી મહારાજની સામ્રાજ્ય સ્થાપન કે, ઇવેંકચ નહે, તર એક રાષ્ટ્રહી
નિર્માણ લૈં. હયા દેશાંત ત્યાંચું વર્ચસ્વ ઇતિકૅ મેંઠે હેતે કી, ત્યાંની શેતર્યાના હાતી
ધન ત્યાંના રણગાજી બનવિલે.
