________________ 29 In comparison to the ears, the teeth hear better. Today attempts are being made to completely eradicate deafness. A machine will be fixed on the teeth bones and the deaf man will be able to hear. The tongue can hear. That the teeth hear means getting quite close to that. Sambhinnasrotolabdhi Jain Acharyas had proven even more advanced facts. They have described a yogic method of super natural powers. It is called Sambhinnasrotolabdhi. It is an excellent power by means of which the whole body becomes a sensory organ, an instrument. Then all this talk of the eyes seeing and the ears hearing becomes meaningless. With the manifestation of this power, every limb of the body works as the five sensory organs. The whole body can see, the whole body can hear. Some people read with their fingers... they perform the work of the eyes with their fingers. This phenomenon has bewildered many scientists. They cannot deny the obvious. They cannot say that one cannot read with the fingers. And yet they are not able to explain how and why it is being done so. This topic is still beyond science Anekanta: The Third Eye Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
