All in Good Faith
All that kills abundant living,
let it from the earth be banned; pride of status, race or schooling,
dogmas that obscure your plan. In our common quest for justice
may we hallow life's brief span.
1968 Stainer and Bell Ltd, London, England.

Our search is not just for better relations between religious people but for a new more peaceful and more just world.
In our work, we need the strength that our religious traditions offer.
No one can put together what has crumbled into dust, but you can restore a conscience turned to ashes; you can restore to its former beauty a soul lost without hope. With you, there is nothing that cannot be redeemed; you are love, you are creator and redeemer; we praise you, singing Alleluia.
Father Gregory Petrou. Composed just prior to his death in prison under Stalin.
Whoever goes to the Lord for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty, can say to Him 'You are my Defender and Protector. You are my God, in you I trust'. He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers.
Psalm 91.1,2 & 3
The servants of God are those who show patience, firmness and selfcontrol, who are true in word and deed, who worship devoutly, who spend time in the way of God; and so pray for forgiveness in the early hours of the morning.

Qur'an 3.15 & 17

In helping others our hope is renewed.
JOURNEY ON IN HOPE
Dear world, being disabled does not mean necessarily not being able to lead a normal life, within limitations.. It is important to look at disability, not as the best that ever happened to you, but not the worst either. It has been 18 years since I had my car accident, which made me disabled. The wheelchair didn't prevent me from studying and becoming a lawyer, to work for disabled people. My social work with the poor and needy took me to represent the people of my own town when I became an alderman, and today I represent my state Sao Paulo, with a population of 36 million people, in Congress. At 37, I am the proud mother of Diego, 2, and Rodrigo, 5, and I had both of them from natural labour. Life taught me something very important! Happiness does not mean a pair of legs, or eyes, or ears, but the will to take part and share with others, respecting them as human beings and being respected as such.
