In confidence and trust we make our prayers to God.
O God our Father, we thank you for the world you have made. Grant that we may treasure it as the work of a loving creator, and that we may be faithful stewards of it for the sake of generations to come.
Lord, hear us: All
Lord, graciously hear us.
Jesus Christ showed your love through his life and death, and told his friends that he had come not to be served but to serve. Grant that we too may be caring and ready to give of ourselves in all our dealings with one another.

Lord, graciously hear us.
Send to us your Holy Spirit, to lead us all in unity and truth, and to guide us in all our thoughts, words and actions.

Lord, graciously hear us.
Bless the Queen, and all the nations of the Commonwealth. Give wisdom to those who are in positions of national and international responsibility and authority; and grant to all your people justice and peace, so that men, women and children of every community may both give and receive understanding and mutual respect.

Hear us as we pray for those who suffer through oppression, violence and war, or by means of any environmental disaster; for all those who are imprisoned, whether justly or unjustly; for the homeless and refugees; for all who are in any kind of danger; and for all those who work in any way to relieve their need and suffering.
