________________ :324: Jinabhadra Gani's [The Botika Without vessel etc., (you) will not be able to practise the whole of Eşaņā samitis, and without garment, (you will) not (be able) to practise niksopa ( careful placing), adana (accepling with care ), and vyutsarga (throwing away with due care). (2604-2605). टीका-५५-५६ यदि जिनमतं तव प्रमाणम् , ततो वस्त्रपात्रादि मा मुश्च मा त्याक्षीः । कुतः ? इत्याह-"नेणगहणानलसेवा" इत्यादिना पूर्वमुक्तं दोषजालं मा लब्धाः । तथा, समितिघातं च तत्परित्यागे माऽऽप्नुहि त्वमिति । कस्याः पुनः समितेः पात्राद्यभावे विघातः १ इत्याह-"अणुवाले उमित्यादि" अशक्तोऽसमर्थो भवेत् । किं कर्तुम् १ । समस्तां परिपूर्णामेषणासमितिमनुपालयितुम् । कथंभूतः ? अपात्रः पात्ररहितः। पुननिक्षेपादानसमित्या व्युत्सर्गसमित्या च समितो न भवेत् , उपलक्षणत्वाद् भाषासमित्यापि समितो न भवेत् , वस्त्राघमावे रजोहरणमुखवत्रिकाधभावात् । तदभावे च यथोक्तसमितित्रयासिद्धेरिति ॥२६०४॥२६०५॥ D. C. If the theory of Tirthankaras is acceptable to you, then, do not really abandon clothes, vessels etc; otherwise, you will be susceptible to faults that have already been mentionedo. You will also be violating the Samiti (Main Rule of an Ascetic's conduct) thereby. In absence of pātra, you will not be able to follow the whole of dşaņā samiti and being unable to practise niksepa, adana and vyutsarga, you will not be able to per- . form bhāşā samiti as well. In absence of vastra etc. like mukhaVastrikā, rajoharaṇa etc. you will be leaving a part of an ascetio's duties unperformed. Thus, without pātra and vastra, you will be violating the principles of an ascetic's life. 55-56 (2604-2605). Then, 8. The rule of moderation in desires. 9.
