मुकुटम् 1 A crown, tiara, diadem; मुकुटरत्नमरीचिभिर- स्पृशत् R.9. 13. [मुकुट is crescent-shaped, the किरीट is pointed and the Atfes has three points. ] -2 A crest. -3 A peak, point. -Comp. -उत्पल: a crest-gem.

मुकुलः,-लम् 1 A bud; आविर्भूतप्रथममुकुलाः कन्दलीश्चानुकच्छम् Me.21; R. 9. 31; 15. 99. -2 Anything like a bud; आलक्ष्यदन्तमकुलान् (तनयान्) 5.7.17. -3 The body. -4 The soul or spirit -BA bud-like junetion of the fingers.
