________________ 210 SAMAYSARA Jaha sippivo vu karananı ginhayınaya so vu tammavo hoyi Taha jīvo karananivu ginhayı naya tammavo hoyi (351) यथा शिल्पिकस्तु करणानि गृह्णति न स तु तन्मय भवति ।। तथा जीव करणानि तु गृह्णति न च तन्मयो भवति ।।३५१॥ | 351 As the artisan holds his tools (while working) but does not become identified with them so also the Self makes use of his organs tri-karana (while acting) but does not become identified with them जह सिप्पिउ कम्मफल भुजइ णय सो उ तम्मओ होइ । तह जीवो कम्मफल भुजइ ण य तम्मओ होइ ॥३५२।। Jaha sippivo kammaphalam bhuñjayı naya sovu tammvo hoyi Taha jīvo kammaphalam bhunjayı naya tammavo hoyi (352) यथा शिल्पिक कर्मफल न च सतुभुडक्ततन्मयो भवति । __ तथा जीव कर्मफल भुडक्ते न च तन्मयो भवति ॥३५२।। 352 As the artisan enjoys the fruit of his labour, but does not become one with it, so also, the Self enjoys the fruit of karmu but does not become one with it एव ववहारस्स उ वत्तव्व दरिसण समासेण । सुणु णिच्छयस्स वयण परिणामकय तु ज होइ ॥३५३॥ Evam vavahārassa vu vattavvam darisanam samāsena Sunu nichchhayassa vayanam parinamakayam tu jam hoyi (353) एव व्यवहारस्य तु वक्तव्य दर्शन समासेन ।। शृणु निश्चयस्य वचन परिणामकृत तु यद्भवति ॥३५३॥ 353 Thus has the doctrine been stated briefly from the vyavahāra point of view, now listen to the statement from the nischaya point of view which refers to changes resulting from modifications (of the soul) जह सिप्पिओ उ चिट्ठ कुव्वइ हवइ य तहा अणण्णो सो। तह जीवोवि य कम्म कुव्वइ हवइ य अणण्णो सो ॥३५४।। Jaha sippivo vu chittam kuvvayı havayıya taha anannaso Taha jīvovi ya kammam kuvvayı havayı ya ananno so (354) यथा शिल्पिकस्तु चेष्टा करोति भवति च तथानन्यस्तस्या । तथा जीवोऽपि च कर्म करोति भवति चानन्यस्तस्मात् ॥३५४॥
