SAMAYSARA
अशुभ शुभ वा रूप न त्वा भणति पश्य मामिति स एव ।
न चैति विनिगृहीतु चक्षुर्विषयमागत रूपम् ।।३७६।। 376 An unpleasant or pleasant visual form does not of its own accord say to thee, "See me ” Even when the visual stimulus reaches the organ of sight, it does not arrive there to seize your attention (by force)
असुहो सुहो व गधो ण त भणइ जिग्घ म ति सो चेव ।
णय एइ विणिग्गहिउ घाणविसयमागय गध ॥३७७॥ Ausho suhova gandho na tam bhanayi jiggha mantı so cheva Naya eyi viniggahivum ghanavisayamāgayam gandham (377)
अशुभ शुभो वा गन्धो न त्वा भणति जिघ्न मामिति स एव ।
न चैति विनिगृहीतु घाणविषयमागत गन्धम् ।।३७७।। , 377 Disagreeable or agreeable odour does not of its own accord say to thee "Smell me ” Even when the smell reaches the organ of smelling, it does not arrive there to seize your attention (by force)
असुहो सुहो व रसो ण त भणइ रसय म ति सो चेव । _णय एइ विणिग्गहिउ रसणविसयमागय तु रस ॥३७८॥ Asuho suhova raso na tam bhanayı fasaya manti so cheva Naya eyi viniggahiyum rasanavisayamāgayam tu rasam (378)
अशुभ शुभो वा रसो न त्वा भणति रसय मामिति स एव ।
न चैति विनिर्ग्रहीतु रसनविषयमागत तु रसम् ॥३७८॥ 378 Bad or good taste does not of its own accord say to thee, “Taste me ” Even when the taste reaches the organ of tasting (tongue) it does not arrive there to seize your attention (by force)
असुहो सुहो व फासो ण त भणइ फास म ति सो चेव ।
णय एइ विणग्गहिउंकायविसयमागय फास ॥३७९॥ Asuho suhoya phaso na tam bhanayı phasamanti so cheva Naya eyi vinaggahıyum kayavisayamāgayam phāsam (379) __ अशुभ शुभो वा स्पर्शो न त्वा भणति स्पृश मामिति स एव ।
न चैति विनिर्ग्रहीतु कायविषयमागत स्पर्शम् ॥३७९॥ 379 Unpleasant or pleasant touch does not of its own
