A Pure-hearted Servant of Light
Shri Gurdial Malik In the days of noise and show, quiet and consolidated work is rather rare. To me revered Pandit Sukhalalji, therefore, is a monument of such unusual achievement. His wide and varied and deep scholarship is reminiscent of Rishis of old. His unbounded zeel for, and pursuit of, knowledge have helped him triumph over handicaps of all sorts.
Panditji, however, is not only -an encyclopaedia of learning, but he is also a man of character with socklike rectitude. Thus, he is, every inch of him, a devoted and dynamic seeker of the Word of which the Bible says, “The Word was God and with God."
Panditji is, indeed, a pure-hearted and pure-minded servant of the Goddess of Light.
My humble and reverent salutations, therefore, to him. May his shining example imbue me with ever-increasing and ever-deepening aspiration after, and inquiry for the Light “that was, is and ever shall be.”
