seen the effects of Alcohol & Chloroform on the human consciousness and always see the effects of colouring of the lights etc, etc. The absolute knowledge of Atman is always pure, distinct and clear but only because of the presence of the Pudgala formations the images and conceptions are affected adversely. If this effect of Pudgala is removed, somehow or other, by getting rid of the Pudgala formations-or changing them suitably the Atman can shine and can know everything clearly in its purest and undefied form which is termed Omniscience or full Absolute Knowiedge-which is termed -Kevalagyan” in Jain literature.
Atman is in close contact and association with Pudgala since eternity and what we see in this world in the shape and form of a living being is Atman with the Pudgala. A free pure Atman can not be influenced or subjected to by the manifestations of Pudgala and its formations. Till this encased Soul gets freedom or liberation from the attached Pudgala body it is affected by all vibrations, formations or phenomena taking place due to this attachment.
