What one sees continually he is apt to acquire, to some extent, similar habits and qualities. There is a very great lack of the knowledge of psychological science concerning this branch-not only in India but all over the world. During the time of Lord Mahabir, Buddha and Ashoka the emblem or sign or idol of lions became so popular and prevalent that in the long run it was one of the root causes of disrupting India, making the citizens vain, selfish, disunited and to quarrel with one another-and to think one's ownself and one's own group to be superior to all others. That is why they acquired the qualities and characteristics of a lion-except that they did not devour or eat each other actually, as the same was prohibited by law and custom everywhere, otherwise that also would have been possible, but mass massacre was the rule of the time. I hope the makers of the present India—the big bosses, leaders and administrators will look towards this. This is not sentimentalism as people may try to laugh away but it is an exact science, not very much known or appreciated as yet.
