D. 1117–8 ).72 Munichandrasūri was the guru of the famous disputant Devasūri. He was trained by Vinayachandra Pathak. He entered the order of Jain monks at an early age. Nemichandrasūri conferred the dignity of Acharya on him Munichandrasūri was a very learned man. He performed austere penance. Many jain monks and nuns were at his beck aad call He was the authorof the following works : Devendranarahendrapraharanavratti in S. 1168 (A. D. 1111-12); Sukshmārthavrchărasărachūrni in V S. 1170 ( A D. 1113-14 ); Anekāntagayapatākāvrattatappanam in V. S. 1171 (A. D. 1114-15 ); Upadešavritta in S. 1174 ( A.D. 111?-8 ); Lalitavistarā panjakā; Dharmabanduvritti, Karmaprakrititappana.
