Purport : Records that, a dispute having arisen between Kanakavira-kurattiyār, a female disciple of Gunakirti-Bhaţāra of Vidal alias Mādēvi-Ārāndimangalam and her five hundred lady pupils on the one and a group four hundred nuns on the other, the inhabitants of the locality, who were the lay disciples of the school to which Kanakavīra-kurattiyār belonged, undertook to feed her and her lady pupils.
