These can be divided into two classes, viz , regular and irregular or symmatrical and assymetrical. Aklankadeva in bis 'Rajrartik' has called these tivo words as Itham' and 'Amtham' Regular shapes are those which ere of specified gcometrical forms og triangle, square, circle, parallelogram etc Except these, all shapes hich have no specified form are called uregular eg the forms of clouds etc dicthods of Dividing or Splitting Matter Matciial objccts can be divided or split in five ufferent ways viz busting, grinding, brcaling, remoring of layers and issure (1) Bursting cg that of a npe sheas of pea (2) Grinding eg making flour from wheat (3) Breaking eg making pieces of stones (4) Removing the layer cs from mica (5) Fissurc eg. those found in a dried pond Four Qualities of matter All material objects have four qualties viz. .ouch, taste, smell and colour In the Bhagwati Sulia this has been very clearly staled There, it is aid that Matter has five colours, five lastes, iwo smells and eight touches.
