WELLESLEY, MA. Results of Essay Competition '86, organised by Boston Jain Center for Groups A - D varying in ages, were recently announced. DR. NAT SHAH ARRANGES INFANT'S HEART OPERATION
CORNWALL, ON. The Canadian press reports that Dr. Nat Shah, a physician in Cornwall, has arranged surgery for a 17 month old Sweta Gupta from Hyderbad, India to repair a hole in her heart. In Ottawa, on March 3, heart specialist Dr. Wilbert Keon performed open heart surgery on Sweta.
Dr. Shah is a founding director of Cornwall based Child Haven International, an agency that helps under-privileged children in Third World Countries.

The author of Kalpa Sutra, Bhadrabahu, born in the year 94 after Lord Mahavir's Nirvan, and - initiated into Jain monk order at the age of 45, is the disciple of Arya Yashobhadra, who is of the Spiritual lineage of Arya Sudharma, one of the eleven immediate disciples of Lord Mahavira.
