Phase I: Cultural Complex North elevation of the facility shows the use of steel frames, aluminum studs, and wood panels. The two-storey structure with a subterranean parking was designed to address the earthquake codes.
Phase I: Cultural Complex Intricately carved limestone elements were ordered from TCPL, Ahmedabad, India, and installed using appropriate steel supports to address earthquake codes. Window surrounds and roof parapets, designed and a finished to match the exterior carved stonework, were fabricated locally using a lighter-weight FRP material.
Phase I: Cultural Complex Natural stone, includi ng marble and colorful granite, has been used extensively throughout the interior to finish the floors, staircases, and walls. The floor medallion shown here is installed in the dining area. Several others are installed in the main lobby and the auditorium.
Phase I: Cultural Complex Folding partitions allow the 2nd floor assembly hall to be divided into four spacious classrooms. Additional classrooms, a museum, an office, a children's room, and two apartments are also located on the 2nd floor.
